Why Am I Here?
You have been directed to this Web site because you have been notified of a security or abuse incident likely caused by a possible virus or Trojan Horse on your computer system(s) or because you suspect your PC may be infected or compromised. You do not have to follow this suggested course of action, but we encourage you to follow the instructions on this page in order to attempt to clean and secure your computer(s). You have the option to use your own virus/Trojan Horse removal programs, or you may choose to take your computer(s) to a PC professional to be cleaned or reformatted, or you may wish to contact your PC's manufacturer for help.
Please be advised, however, that whether you follow all or some of our suggested steps or your own solution, you have 24 hours to take action. If we receive reports showing that the matter is still ongoing, we will take further action up to and including suspension of service.
If you are unable to finish the cleaning/securing process in one session please bookmark this page and disconnect your computer from the Internet or shut down your PC until you are able to complete it. By leaving your computer online you are putting yourself and other Internet users at risk for infection, identity theft, and hacker or DOS attacks.
Cleaning
This section gives you links to tools to scan for Trojan Horses, Virus, Worms and Malware. You can use any or all of the tools as long as you scan with at least one anti-virus and anti-Trojan. The Quick Scan tools, while convenient for removing infections, will not pro-actively protect you from infections and should not be substituted for maintaining a pro-active anti-virus software on your system(s).
